Clinics   Again in 2012, championship player, Maryholt Maxwell, will head a team of our best players offering on-court weekly afternoon clinics at Bruce Park.  Content will range from shot-making to game strategy and execution.  These clinics will be open to Club members and guests and tailored to small group instruction depending on the student needs.   Guests may attend three lessons without charge.   No need to call ahead, just show up.

A second court will be open for pick-up games.

Study Material is available from several sources, and a good place to start is with the U. S. Croquet Association which sells a plethora of study material from the experts, and covers all aspects of croquet including shooting skills, strategy, and rules.   The material is available in books, CDs, and DVD Video, as appropriate, and can be ordered on-line.  

In addition to the USCA, many privately filmed videos are available from various sources, especially those filmed by, or of championship level USCA players.  We do not endorse any products or training material sold commercially, but videos are available on the web, especially some of the popular sites that feature video, especially YouTube.com.  Look for instructors filmed on proper manicured courts (and generally with players wearing whites) if you want to see the videos appropriate to American Six-Wicket Croquet.
